It extends from Crewe and Stoke-on-Trent in the north to Northampton, Stratford-upon-Avon, Worcester and Leamington Spa in the south and as far west as Gobowen and Hereford and is bounded in the east by the Trent Valley.

Radiating from Birmingham the West Midlands Day Ranger allows travel to Shrewsbury, Hereford, Worcester, Stratford-upon Avon, Leamington Spa, Northampton, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Lichfield, Rugeley, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe.

It also allows you to travel along the West Coast Main Line between Crewe and Rugby and the branches to Stourbridge and Redditch.

Note that travel between Crewe and Shrewsbury or between Shrewsbury and Hereford is not permitted on direct Transport for Wales services.
