Unlimited off-peak travel along the Thames Valley and beyond for either 3 consecutive days or 7 consecutive days.

Thames Rover ticket

It extends from Moreton-in-Marsh and Banbury in the north to Basingstoke, Guildford and Redhill in the south and from Bedwyn in the west to London Paddington in the east and encompasses Reading, Didcot, Oxford and Newbury plus the Thames Valley branch lines to Greenford, Windsor & Eton Central, Bourne End/Marlow and Henly-on-Thames.

The Thames Rover allows travel along the Great Western Main Line from London Paddington as far as Didcot Parkway then onwards to Banbury and Oxford and Moreton-in-Marsh.

On the Berks & Hants line you can travel to Newbury and Bedwyn and from Reading you can go to Guildford and Redhill.

The four Thames Valley branch lines are included: Greenford, Windsor & Eton Central, Bourne End/Marlow and Henly-on-Thames.

Ticket Vending Machine (TVM): i Northern Ticket Vending Machines now sell most ranger and rover tickets but at the moment only for same-day travel (rather prohibitive for distant areas)

Some Avanti West Coast station TVMs for example Crewe, now sell local rangers and rovers.

A number of PTE areas sell local rangers from TVMs in their area e.g. South Yorkshire, Strathclyde and West Midlands
