Unlimited off-peak travel for one day extending from Bradford and Leeds in the north to Manchester in the west and to Sheffield and Dronfield in the south and Castleford in the east.

South Pennines Day Ranger ticket


The South Pennines Day Ranger allows travel between Manchester and Leeds via both Huddersfield and Bradford and between Manchester and Sheffield via both Stockport and New Mills Central as well as to Glossop and Hadfield.

You can travel between Leeds and Sheffield via either Huddersfield or Wakefield Kirkgate but NOT on CrossCountry Trains via Wakefield Westgate and as far south as Dronfield but not to Chesterfield.

Some Avanti West Coast station TVMs for example Crewe, now sell local rangers and rovers.

A number of PTE areas sell local rangers from TVMs in their area e.g. South Yorkshire, Strathclyde and West Midlands
