FFESTINIOG ROUND ROBIN

One day circular journey only in either direction from any station on the route Shrewsbury, Machynlleth, Porthmadog, Blaneau Ffestiniog, Llandudno Junction, Chester, Wrexham, Shrewsbury and includes a single journey on the Ffestiniog Railway.

It is also valid from Crewe either via Chester or Shrewsbury and also stations between Crewe and Shrewsbury, stations from Pwllheli to Porthmadog or Minffordd, Aberystwyth to Machynlleth and Holyhead to Llandudno Junction.

Separate fares are also available on the routes from Manchester, Warrington and Liverpool via Chester or Crewe and from Birmingham International, Birmingham New Street, Wolverhampton and Stafford via Shrewsbury or Crewe to access the circular route returning to the origin station.

Note that a return journey on the Ffestiniog Railway is not permitted.

Ticket Vending Machine: i Northern Ticket Vending Machines now sell most ranger and rover tickets but at the moment only for same-day travel (rather prohibitive for distant areas)

Some Avanti West Coast station TVMs for example Crewe, now sell local rangers and rovers.

LNER TVMs at Doncaster, Edinburgh, London King's Cross, Newcastle and York also sell them.

A number of PTE areas sell local rangers from TVMs in their area e.g. South Yorkshire, Strathclyde and West Midlands
