The Explore Cambrian Coast Day Ranger allows travel on the lines west of Machynlleth to the coastal town of Aberystwyth and along the Cambrian Coast line through Tywyn, over the Mawddach estuary on Barmouth bridge to Barmouth, Harlech, Criccieth and Porthmadog to the end of the line at Pwllheli.

It allows you to easily visit four of the Welsh narrow gauge railways: the Vale of Rheidol Railway at Aberystwyth, the Talyllyn Railway at Tywyn, the Fairbourne Railway near Barmouth Barmouth and the Ffestiniog Railway at Minffordd.
