Disabled Persons Railcard - get ⅓ off your rail tickets

For a disabled person and a friend

The Disabled Persons Railcard is for anyone who has a disability that makes travelling by train difficult and allows ⅓ discount on Anytime, Off-Peak and Advance rail tickets in both standard class and first class for you and a travelling companion.

The one year railcard costs £20 and the three year railcard costs £54.

You can purchase or renew your Disabled Persons Railcard online and your Railcard doesn’t just save you money on travel, it also saves you money with Railcard partners too – on days out, museums, hotels and more.

Check the Journey Planner and see just how much you'll save with your Disabled Persons Railcard.

Discounts also apply to Caledonian Sleeper services including sleeper berths for both the Railcard holder and accompanying adult, plusbus, many rover and ranger tickets, Oyster, Travelcards (restrictions apply) and some rail/sea jorneys.

The Railcard costs just £20. So after a couple of trips, the card will have paid for itself, and there are no time restrictions on the Disabled Persons Railcard so you can use it to get a discount on tickets at any time of the day.
